'My work is about stories and sanctuaries. My paintings are often filled with fantastical landscapes inspired by poems, stories, and the contents of my imagination. I love that art gives us the ability to create a place of stillness, peace, and contemplation for ourselves and for others when the outside world may be anything but tranquil. It is important for me to share that sanctuary with the viewer, even if it only imaginary. I believe in the healing power of art and storytelling. I celebrate moments of everyday magic in my paintings: starry skies and golden hours, the presence of angels, and birds that fly beyond space and time to touch the Divine. Part real, and part fantastical, the gardens and forests I paint are my reflections of the Divine Realm. They are also my way of offering viewers a moment of peace, a little breathing space, and a reminder that magic and beauty are always present, if we only take a moment to stop and look.'
