Jonathan Cooper is delighted to announce Spring, an exhibition of new sculptures by Georgina Warne, which will be on view at the BADA Fair, London, from 15th – 21st March 2017. A ceramicist and printmaker, Georgina Warne combines both art forms in her sculptures, printing and hand-colouring their surface with idiosyncratic motifs inspired by folklore, folk songs, and the natural world.
Working from her Norfolk studio, Warne observes the changing rhythms of the seasons, and this exhibition will be a joyful celebration of the growth and renewal of the English countryside in spring. Whether depicting leaping hares, wading birds, or nesting owls, each unique piece is lovingly crafted using with clays of the highest quality, and joyfully conveys a narrative or message that invites the viewer on an imaginative journey.
