Over the last three years, we’ve had the chance to discover new artists who have been accepted to be represented by our gallery. For this exhibition, we have gathered together five contemporary artists – Lee Andre, Angus Fisher, Ayesha Gamiet, Yasmin Hayat & Janet Marsh – with a selection of their new artworks which are highly representative of what they do.
Through mythology, tradition, and fantasy, they all seek to celebrate the beauty of the natural world and the magic of everyday objects. However, our choice to work with these artists goes beyond our strong interest in still lifes and wildlife art. Jonathan Cooper has always chosen to represent artists, not following any particular line or trend, but for their excellence in their particular field. Our show aims to highlight the incredible diversity of our artists. Enriched by many different cultural influences, each has created a unique universe that they explore through a perfect mastery of their technique.
We are happy to accompany these artists in their artistic journey, and we hope their pictures will speak to your imagination.
