As a picture dealer, one of the pivotal moments in my career came when I first encountered Jay Kirkman’s paintings in 1985. His ability to capture the spirit and elegance of equestrian subjects was truly unmatched by any living equestrian painter that I had seen before. I immediately knew I had discovered a remarkable talent. Two years later, I became his dealer, a partnership that flourished for nearly a decade. During that time, collectors from all walks of life acquired Jay’s works through my gallery, making it an incredible success.
In 1999, Jay moved on to a more widely known West End gallery to further his career.
Over the years, I’ve been privileged to handle many of his works. I am now honoured to offer a unique collection of Jay Kirkman’s paintings for sale. Some of these pieces have been in private collections for decades, making this a rare opportunity to own one of his exceptional works.
