We're thrilled to announce the opening of Andrea Collesano's latest solo exhibition "After Us". The exhibition is currently on view at our Chelsea gallery and online on our website.
Collesano's unique style of using ink on paper, which he prepares himself, gives his work a flavour of ancient times and a feeling of melancholy serenity. For this exhibition, he has created a stunning new collection of ink drawings featuring large cetaceans, whales, and other animals that are sure to captivate the audience.
"I’ve imagined a world where the Nature is the main character. A post apocalyptic even. In my dream the Man- as usual- has disappeared, I see only ruins of lighthouses, towers, pyramids, temples and columns. It’s very quiet. There’s oxygen. Insects and whales are chatting again. And deers. And owls. Let’s see my new world together. I’m waiting you." - Andrea Collesano.
